Joel Harwood Presents: Long-Term Athlete Development
The Coach Behind World Champions Comes to the Tetons
What does it take to develop athletes from local enthusiasts to world champions? Join us for an evening with Joel Harwood, a coach who has spent two decades refining his approach to long-term athlete development.
From youth programs to elite competition, Joel's background as both an educator and performance coach offers practical insights for athletes, parents, and coaches in any sport. Whether you're looking to improve your own performance, support a young athlete, or simply understand what makes great coaching, Joel's presentation on Long-term Athlete Development Planning will challenge how you think about progression in sports.
As founder of Blueprint Athlete Development and two-time Cycling Canada Coach of the Year, Joel combines exercise physiology with real-world coaching experience—focusing on sustainable development that builds skills, fitness, and mental resilience over time. His holistic approach applies whether you're on a bike, on skis, or pursuing any athletic goal.

Let’s dig deep and give this backcountry trail the love it deserves.
