About

Our mission is to preserve and advance trails and mountain bike resources in the Teton Region through stewardship, community engagement, and advocacy.

Our vision is a Teton Region where sustainable, accessible trail networks and mountain bike opportunities connect people and landscape, and strengthen the health and culture of our community.

Established in 2014, Mountain Bike the Tetons (MBT) was created to serve as a dedicated organization focused exclusively on the stewardship of single-track trails and mountain bike advocacy. Operating under our own 501(c)(3) status, MBT is the regional chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), representing communities on both sides of the Tetons.

Today, MBT leads a successful Trails Program staffed by a skilled trail crew, engages in regional recreation advocacy and policy initiatives, delivers youth mountain bike education programs, and hosts a variety of races and community events. Through these efforts, we connect, grow, and inspire the Teton region’s mountain biking community.
