Sprockids are…fun seeking kiddos, excited to be outside, and ready to learn some amazing mountain bike skills!

Program Details:

2022 Program Registration: 

Online registration for 2022 Sprockids will open at 8am on March 1st, 2022. Please check back on this page for an active link to register.

IMPORTANT: Please also have a Paypal account set up to make your payment for the program with!

If the program you are interested in is full, please contact us directly to be put on the waitlist.

Program Age Groups: 

The Sprockids participant must be 6 to 11 years old by July 10th, of the current year.

2022 Program Dates & Times: 

6-8 year old Sprockids: 5:30-7:00 pm, every Tuesday from June 28th - August 16th, 2022 (both Teton Valley and Jackson options)

9-11 year old Sprockids: 5:30-7:00 pm, every Wednesday from June 29th - August 17th, 2022 (both Teton Valley and Jackson options)

Program Locations: 

There are Sprockids programs in both Jackson and Teton Valley! Exact meeting and riding locations for each session will be announced closer to the program start date and are subject to permit availability by the USFS and access from other private venues.

Examples venues in past years have been:

Teton Valley: Victor bike park, Driggs bike park, South Valley trails, Horseshoe trails, Grand Targhee

Jackson: Blair Drive bike park, Game Creek trails, Wilson Canyon trails, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (XC trails & lift access)

Please note: Transportation to and from the Sprockids locations is NOT provided by MBT.

2022 Program Cost: 

$210 - Program registration fee includes 8 x 1.5 hour, super fun sessions, facilitated by amazing coaches, a fun swag bag, and Sprockids gear. Program fees are non-refundable. If any of the 8 sessions get cancelled due to rain, lightning or hazardous air quality, we will have one make up session date after the final week of the program for that location/age group.

Scholarships:

If your child cannot participate without the help of scholarship funding please let us know. We have a limited number of scholarships available for each of the four programs.

Parents Info Night:

There will be an optional info session on Zoom for both Jackson & Teton Valley parents on June 6th @ 6:00pm.

Parent Volunteer Coaching:

Parents!….mountain biking is one of the few activities you can physically do with your child. Rather than just driving them to the rink and watching, you can actually participate with your children and experience the excitement of mountain biking right along with them. You can connect with your children on a very real and meaningful level while rediscovering the child within yourself. If you are interested in being a parent volunteer for the Sprockids program please let us know! This program could not exist without our amazing parent volunteer coaches!

Program Requirements:

• Participant must be able to ride a two-wheeled PEDAL BIKE with two hand brakes prior to program start. NO training wheels, NO coaster brakes. PEDALS should be what the rider is most comfortable using (we encourage flats).

• Participants must wear a properly fitted HELMET at all times. Additional protective equipment is not required.

• SHOES must be closed-toe. We know it gets hot here in summer, but we like our toes safe!

• WATER, a SNACK and a RAIN JACKET needs to be carried by each participant at every session.

• Note: Coaches will be carrying bear sprays during all activities that are not at local bike parks in town.
